FUNFAN2007
FUNFAN2007 is a Marugame “Uchiwa” Fan FUNFAN display with the themes of “the wind of love to the world...”. Through this, we hope to send a message to the nation and the world about protecting the environment.
Produced by Shigeo Fukuda - the Director of the Japan Graphic Designer Association,
a total of 57 designers representing 22 countries, and 20 designers from within
Japan, participated in the project. This year's theme is "the wind of love
to the world".
Marugame UCHIWA are tools of cooling, essential for withstanding the hot Japanese
summer. It is our hope that these UCHIWAs, used in the spirit of international
love, will reduce the use of air conditioning, and in that way help to alleviate
the problem of global warming.
